Marie-Hélène Lafon's "Alphonse" in Granta

Feeling extremely privileged to have my translation of Marie-Hélène Lafon's exquisitely wrenching short story, 'Alphonse' appear in Granta literary magazine. Lafon is, in my view, one of the most beautiful writers working in French today.
